Thank you for choosing the Coastal Babysitters Kids Club. We're here to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment where children can enjoy activities and make new friends while parents enjoy their time knowing their little ones are cared for by trusted professionals.

1. Supervision and Safety

• Kids Club activities are designed for children aged 4 to 12 years.
• In some situations younger children may attend if ratio allows and the child is toilet trained and able to toilet independently.
• All children are supervised at all times by experienced Coastal Babysitters team members who hold current Working with Children Checks and First Aid certifications.
• Our team maintains ratios at or above Queensland childcare standards.
• Parents or guardians must sign their child in and out. Children will only be released to the authorised adult listed at registration.
• Kids Club is a group program. Children should be comfortable participating with other children and able to follow basic instructions from carers.
• If a child requires individual supervision beyond what can reasonably be provided in a group setting, we may speak with parents about alternative care options.

2. First Aid and Medical Care

• If First Aid is required, a trained team member will attend and you will be contacted immediately.
• If your child requires medication, a parent or guardian must complete a Medication Administration Form.
• If a child becomes unwell you will be asked to collect them as soon as possible.
• In the event of a serious incident, we may seek emergency medical treatment or call an ambulance. Parents are responsible for any associated costs.

3. Behaviour

• We aim to provide a positive, inclusive experience for every child.
• If a child becomes disruptive or poses a risk to themselves or others, a team member will contact the parent to collect their child immediately.

4. Allergies, Health and Special Requirements

• Parents must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs at registration.
• Coastal Babysitters cannot take responsibility for incidents arising from undisclosed information.
• Please ensure any required medication is brought along with written instructions.

5. Duty of Care

• Coastal Babysitters will always act in the best interests of your child and take reasonable steps to ensure their wellbeing and safety.
• We will not be held responsible for any accident or injury except where caused by proven negligence.
• All reasonable care is taken with children's belongings, but we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.

6. Photography and Promotion

• By registering, you consent to your child being photographed and those photos being used in marketing materials by Coastal Babysitters.
• If you do not wish for your child to be photographed or filmed, please advise our team in writing before or during sign-in.

7. Privacy

• All personal information collected will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and used only for providing care and ensuring safety.

8. Communication

• Parents must remain contactable during the session. Please keep your phone on and your number current.
